A change of scenery.

I've decided to change the template of my website. I was getting bored of the previous one. Plus it was getting harder to see the text against the background, so I've chosen something with a bit more colour. Knowing me, I'll probably keep changing it now and again until I'm happy with it (I'm still getting to grips with blogging and website building after all), but for now, I like it. And at least I'm not straining my eyes anymore.

One thing I noticed when changing my template was that any links that I'd entered had disappeared. Not only that, but the template that I had chosen didn't include the link list. For someone that isn't totally experienced in HTML code yet, this was a bit of a pain. Fortunately, I was able to copy the code on the blogger help page that tells you how to edit the links and add it to the template code. After initially messing up, I finally got it right. While it does appear a bit of an inconvenience at first, I think its good that there is a chance for people to learn a bit of HTML and experiment with it while using Blogger. Just so long as I don't have to mess around with it too often!
