A Brief update...

I haven't updated this for around two weeks. I've found other things occupying my time since I last blogged, so haven't had the chance. Here is just a few things that have happened since I last was on here:

1. I returned to work.

2. My employers pissed me off by pulling me up over the amount of days I've had off sick in the last twelve months (the majority being from when I was ill a few weeks ago). I stopped short of telling them what I thought of their policy and where they can stick their job. If they dare have a word with me again about it, or anything else, I won't hesitate in telling them.

3. It's my mum and dad's wedding anniversary today.

4. Shayne won the X Factor (as was expected).

5. Darren Gough won Strictly Come Dancing (who let that happen?!)

6. Carol Thatcher won I'm a Celebrity... (YES!!)

7. The JCB Song is number one (double YES!!)

Back to work.

Bar a complete disaster occuring at the last minute, I will be returning to work tomorrow. After two weeks stuck at home, it will be good to finally get back outside again, although I'm not particularly enthusiastic about working again.

During my time on the sick I have discovered:

1. That daytime TV is SERIOUSLY addictive. In fact, I'd forgotten just how addictive it was.
2. That after a while, you're not actually that bothered about being stuck indoors.
3. Nor are you bothered about the fact that you haven't had a proper bath or washed your hair properly for two weeks.
4. That I've actually enjoyed watching I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! after never really liking it before. Carol Thatcher to win!

I think I may have difficulty getting back to normal after this.
