The Wonderful NHS-part 2

I went to the dentist today. It cost me £15 for a check up, de-scale and polish. Still, I suppose I should count myself lucky that I still have an NHS dentist-for now. I should also consider myself fortunate that I’ve not had to have any major dental treatment yet. I hope I won’t for a long time yet, especially if the prices, both NHS and private, are so expensive.

Also, is it just me or does anyone else’s head feel like they’ve had their brain shredded after they’ve had their teeth descaled? Every time I have it done I feel disorientated and can’t think straight for a few hours afterwards. Plus I end up eating a load of sweets just to try and get the horrible taste that it leaves out of my mouth!
